Located on the first floor with quiet courtyard views, the Patriot’s Room is elegantly decorated with light blue and gold fabrics, oriental carpets and lovely boutique furnishings. The king-sized, four-poster canopy bed draped in delicate fabric sits adjacent to a marble fireplace. The spacious bathroom features a double whirlpool tub and separate shower.

Historic Inspiration
The name of each of the Carrollton Inn’s thirteen rooms and suites was inspired by a facet of the life of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the original owner of the neighboring Carroll Mansion. Charles Carroll of Carrollton was a director of the C&O Canal Company and the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. He was founder of the First Bank of the United States and a major founding stockholder of the Second Bank of the United States. He was active in the details of farming and land management at the estates of Carrollton & Doughoregan. He laid the cornerstone of the Shot Tower. Inheriting the family fortune, he increased it four-fold.
