April showers bring May flowers, right? Now that the weather is getting warmer, there are more April events and things to do in the Baltimore area.

Speaking of flowers, there is a Spring Flower Display & Art Exhibit now through April 12 held at The Rawlings Conservatory. Take a look at all the beautiful flowers Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, so make sure you don’t miss out! Camden Yards

For all the baseball fans (myself included), 2015 baseball season has officially begun for our Baltimore Orioles! Take pride in your city and get tickets to the upcoming games. Friday, April 10 @ 3:05 p.m. is the first home game vs the Blue Jays. Operation Orange Rallies are also starting from April 6-11. April 7, the rally is being held from 5-7 p.m. at Dempsey’s Pub & Restaurant on West Camden Street. Keep your eyes open for the various bars and restaurants participating in Operation Orange April 8 in Canton and Fells Point also!

Another outdoor activity that is family friendly is Maryland My Maryland – Lexington of 1861 Parade & Ceremony held on April 18 starting at 10 a.m. in front of Fell’s Point Recreation Pier. Take a day to explore the city’s history and connections to the Civil War and Underground Railroad!
